1. Summer Time Files:

I’m learning the art of fishing and how to hold my balance on a boat. I’ve gone to two MLB baseball games thus far where getting a brew is a must every ending. My shades are essential and I’m living for the moments that will hold me over during the winter months. I’ve been in 4 states and the District (DC that is) within the last 5 weeks. Now if only I can make my way to Cali and NYC before August 15th (wishful thinking). I’m 22 and my life has only just begun, so today’s thoughts goes out to those living life with no regrets!!!

  5. Acceptance..

I think one of the most important things in life is becoming familiar with your inner YOU. Most people go their entire lives not ever REALLY becoming familiar with who they are, what they’re about, and for what purpose they have to live. This is a reality that I have become familiar with over the last year and have dedicated my time and effort in figuring out my purpose and my passion. Only upon figuring out your inner self will you see the physical counterpart through material gains and success. This acceptance and appreciation is a lifelong journey that can only be won through small gains in your daily action.

  6. I am hungry for more knowledge. Ignorance is not bliss. Feed your mental and READ, READ, READ! You cannot rely on the media alone to educate you, you cannot even rely on the education system in America to fully educate you. The public library alone can expose you to more knowledge than four years at any university. Maya Angelou, Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin, Toni Morrison, and Langston Hughes are just a few authors you should become familiar with.

"An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." -Benjamin Franklin

  7. Life may not be about finding yourself, instead it’s about creating yourself. Each day comes with it the opportunity to become whomever you wish to be. An entrepreneur, a lawyer, a CEO, an artist, a writer, Congressmen, whatever it is…you truly can become it. But first you must prepare your mind to imagine yourself in your most perfect light. Once your have the image clear in your mind, you have to create action plans on how you will become who you were destined to be. Lastly, you must start doing. “Well done is better than well said” -Benjamin Franklin. Once you put action behind vision that is purpose and passion driven, there is nothing you can’t accomplish. The impossible will become possible for those who believe.
